The Swedish IF-Boat association works for keeping the IF-Boat as an one design class and that racing in IF-Boat should not be too expensive. The association has 600 members, which makes it the most numerous class association in Sweden.
The association publish the periodical "Medvind", that comes out two times a year and is free for members. The magazine gives tips and advice about owning and sailing the IF-Boat.
The association is divided into four regional sections:
Nordic IFRA
The Nordic IFRA (IF Racing Association) is a cooperative organisation between Nordic countries' IF-Boat class unions. The Nordic IFRA mainly works with the production of common class rules and coordination of championship competions.
