I am looking at buying an IF in Sweden to tow back to England. Can anybody offer some advice on the availability of trailers (secondhand) in Sweden? Does anybody have experience and advice of towing an IF over a long distance? Does anybody know the actual width of the foot of the keel?

These germans transported their IF-boat from germany to spain by trailer in order to sail over the atlantic

Unfortunately, I could not figure out how to contact them...

Personally, I have no experience from trailers but I guess that You will need quite a big one since the boat weight is more than 2 ton.
